IMPORTANT: To learn Telugu Easily and Fastly using this website, I advise you to go to the homepage and go through all my posts. You will find links to all posts in the homepage. Ignore this message if you are already in the homepage.

Dear Telugu learners,

Welcome to my site !!
This site is my humble attempt to teach Telugu (mostly which is spoken by native Telugu people in their day to day conversations or that which is used in Telugu movies) to everyone who is interested in learning it. Among all Indian languages, Telugu is closest to the divine Sanskrit in terms of both vocabulary and pronunciation.

This page is the homepage which is like "Table of Contents" to the entire site and contains links to all the posts that I wrote. Go through all the posts and I wish you a happy learning :).

A. Early Posts:

These posts were written when I started the blog and had a rough plan. (Definitely worth going through!)
  1. Simple Words of Telugu Language
  2. Simple Verbs - Few Illustrations which have subject as 'You' (informal or friendly)
  3. All Sentences - First Person Singular ( 'I' ) - Informal Conversations
  4. All sentences - Second Person Singular ( 'You' ) - Informal Conversations
  5. Verbs of Telugu Language in Informal, Colloquial, Normal Day-to-Day Conversations - All Persons, All Tenses

B. Telugu Learning Kit from C.P.Brown Academy, Hyderabad

A set of four wonderful modules (Hard copy worth Rs 400 approx but free as soft copy i.e., available for free download)
  • Can take some time...

Thank you for your wonderful site. However, unable to access the pdf files Telugu SabdhamAla (Vocabulary). There is an error in the document while saving or directly opening.

    Kindly resolve the same

Probably you didn't read about the 'splitter' program that I mentioned in that article. The two files, Part 01 and Part 02 are part files and are NOT pdfs i.e., you can't open them. To do that, first you have to download the splitter program and unsplit(or join) those two files to create a single file. This file will be a pdf and can be opened. Anyway this weekend I'll try to upload the whole files without splitting, as skydrive now allows uploading of files upto 100 MB in size.

Have you downloaded splitter (present for download on the same page) and used it to unsplit/join the two part files ? (note that the part files by themselves are not pdfs. only when they are joined using that splitter program, they form a pdf)

My Heart-felt APPRECIATION to the C.P.Brown institute and the people who have worked hard to realize this site.
I am from Tamil Nadu but presently in Rome for a while.
As I wished to learn a little bit of Telugu to converse with my Telugu friends, this site came as a boon to me.
I find your site very useful.
I do hope to learn Telugu not only to converse but also to appreciate the language just as I appreciate the people from my neighbor state of Andhra Pradesh.
    THANKS!
